A 麻豆精品 S淗istory Harvest 麻豆精品 S to preserve and digitize all kinds of school-related artifacts and memorabilia will be held 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at UCF 麻豆精品 S檚 Public History Center in Sanford.
Organizers are asking teachers, staffers and former students of area schools who would like to preserve photos, yearbooks, graduation programs, class projects and other items to bring them to the center for a free scanning event and workshop on how to preserve personal and family collections. Oral histories also can be recorded.
With the permission of the participants, the center will use copies of selected materials to create a new exhibit.
The event includes a preservation workshop at 2 p.m., free refreshments, children 麻豆精品 S檚 activities and exhibit tours at the facility, which is a hands-on museum and educational center.
聽 麻豆精品 S淵ou can harvest history anytime 麻豆精品 S as long as it 麻豆精品 S檚 ripe, 麻豆精品 S said Rosalind Beiler, UCF 麻豆精品 S檚 director of public history.
