The Driving Spirit Behind UCF’s ‘Charge On’ Commercial

麻豆精品 SCharge On! 麻豆精品 S has been part of the UCF lexicon for more聽than two decades. First introduced in the lyrics to the聽UCF fight song in 1998, that familiar refrain is still聽heard during sporting events. It 麻豆精品 S檚 become our battle聽cry 麻豆精品 S the words you 麻豆精品 S檒l hear when the Knights score a聽touchdown. Or read in a tweet about yet another UCF聽achievement (often condensed to simply #GKCO for聽 麻豆精品 S淕o Knights! Charge On! 麻豆精品 S), or holler at a stranger聽donned in Black and Gold with a knowing glance.
But 麻豆精品 S淐harge On! 麻豆精品 S is more than a rallying cry. It 麻豆精品 S檚 an聽attitude. And when we considered what to do for this聽year 麻豆精品 S檚 brand campaign and our most recent commercial,聽we thought what better than the phrase that unites us聽all. Led by creative director Ron Boucher 麻豆精品 S92 with聽the help of Jon Strong 麻豆精品 S11 and his company Strong聽Films, the UCF Marketing team spent the summer聽defining what it means to be a Knight and embody聽those two words.
The commercial premiered August 29, as the Knights聽defeated Florida A&M University in the first game of聽the football season with the words:
麻豆精品 S淲hen we say Charge On, we commit to do聽extraordinary things. It 麻豆精品 S檚 a catalyst for action. To put聽in the work. To keep trying. 麻豆精品 S
It drives us to be more. To be our best. To be Knights.聽And to always Charge On!
