I serve because 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S淚 am a first-generation student, and I can very clearly connect the impact of my life to the education I received partly here at UCF. 麻豆精品 S�

My service on the board 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S渉as made me realize that the amount of money expended does not necessarily equate to higher quality. Having a well-funded university is important to being able to carry out programs, but I have seen UCF do great things with a limited budget. 麻豆精品 S�

The key to getting things done is 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S渉aving the information we need to make decisions. The is always going to be criticized for some decision we make. I 麻豆精品 S檓 OK with that as long as we are confident that we made the decision based on a full review of all of the information that needed to be taken into account. 麻豆精品 S�

The biggest impact UCF has made is 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S渋ts profound economic effect on all of Central Florida. It now is part of every discussion of economic development, intellectual development, artistic development [and] scientific development. Everything that happens now in the Central Florida region typically will involve some discussion of UCF and its potential involvement. 麻豆精品 S�

I am most passionate about 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S渃ontrolling the costs of higher education. Introducing innovative and creative ways of delivering education in a modern technological era is something I think we have taken a national lead in and can develop much more in the years ahead to help control those costs. 麻豆精品 S�

It is important to me that 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S渟tudents feel free to communicate with trustees on the issues they think are important and meaningful to their education and to the direction of the university. We want to understand what 麻豆精品 S檚 on their minds. 麻豆精品 S�

The thing I enjoy most about serving UCF is 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S淸that] these are dynamic times at UCF with incredible change and growth, and with that comes a lot of decisions to be made. 麻豆精品 S� That 麻豆精品 S檚 something that keeps me energized and something that is exciting for me to participate in. 麻豆精品 S�

As a trustee, I 麻豆精品 S檓 most proud 麻豆精品 S� 麻豆精品 S渨hen I go to a State [University System] Board of Governors meeting and see what 麻豆精品 S檚 happening at UCF as compared to the other universities in the state and when I see Dr. Hitt commended by the Board of Governors for the tremendous job he 麻豆精品 S檚 doing. When you have a leader like that, our job as trustees is a lot easier. 麻豆精品 S�
